This:

I had to laugh out loud. This is something I bought for Andrew's Christmas stocking - and I have a very vivid memory of stashing it in the cupboard under the microwave where the telephone books, pet hair roller, candlesticks, and various other stuff we have no clue where to put live. Apparently that memory was not quite so vivid enough for me to remember in time for last Christmas!
No matter. Andrew is happy to eat them now.
I still don't know where the pet hair roller is, however.

Ha ha, I think my verification word sums it up well: loonical!
My mom does this all the time. I'm always getting xmas presents from her that were meant for me five years ago. Ha ha!
Hope you're on your feet again soon.
Hope you get better soon!! :) Hehe..I do that all the time..putting stuff in a safe place...still looking for an Itunes GC from last year ;)
Hope you're feeling better.
We all have one of those drawers/cupboards. Full of surprises!
When my family moved out of the house we'd lived in for 20+ years, we found five or six plastic Easter eggs that Dad had hidden really, really well.
My house gobbles up items from time to time and we cannot for the life of us find certain things. It still puzzles me how something could just vanish. Life goes on though.
