I have a broken-hearted little girl tonight. We thought Caddie was rallying, but it wasn't meant to be. All I could tell her was that all dogs go to heaven and can only hope that helps.
My thoughts are with you. I know what it is to let go of someone who has been part of your life for so long. Only time will help a little, but how to explain that to a little girl? Wish I knew how to help you in that explaining matter, Jo. All the best to you and your family. Love from Leena *remembering the 15 golden years with my first doggie*
Willow, honey, I understand how sad you are about Caddie. You loved her very much and that's the best thing you could have ever done for her. She's in a happy place now, where she can run like a puppy and fetch all the tennis balls she can handle. (If it'll make you feel better, I'll tell my Daddy to look out for her. He's in Heaven, too, and he always liked doggies.)
I'm so sorry. Our pets become part of the family quickly and it's sad to lose them. We lost three in the past year (all over the age of 14). We're in the market for another one, but are having a hard time finding what we want. Good luck to you!
Oh, I can feel how much that hurts. I remember a book we used to have in the library at work, called "Lifetimes." A good explanation of life and death for grieving kids.

Poor Caddie. And poor Willow. Give her a hug from me, ok? And for you, too.
Ugh. I so don't want to be in your shoes, but I know someday I will be. Hugs to you all!

So sad. I'd be heartbroken too, I can't even imagine if I were Willow's age. Big hugs and prayers for you guys.
I'm so sorry for you guys. Hugs all around. :-(
So very sorry about Caddie.
I'm so sorry, Jo. Give Willow a great big hug from me. It's never easy to lose a beloved pet.
Sad times. Sorry for your loss :0(
Aw geez.
My daughter would be catatonic with grief...poor Willow.
All dogs do go to heaven, give Willow a big hug and give Andrew and yourself one too. Losing anyone close to you hurts. Love Jaime

I'm so sorry. Losing a pet is so hard, they are our furry friends.
So very sad. It hurts so much to lose a pet. I hope you (and Willow) are making out alright.
Hugs to you all!!
