I think I love transitional seasons--fall and spring. But since fall segues into my favorite season, winter, I love it more than spring!

Fall came a little early this year, but we had to turn the AC back on yesterday. Texas has two growing seasons, Spring and Fall, separated by drought and what passes for winter. So I love them both. Fall has always been my favorite.
I miss the north country right about this same time every year.

Mm, yes I adore autumn usually. Here in Spain it doesn't feel quite right although it has cooled off a lot. We are going back to the Uk for a week or two this week and I'm looking forward to the smell of fallen golden leaves...mmmm
