April Garden

Who could deny Spring is here with colours like these staring you in the face:

Rhodo 2

Rhodo 1

Rhodo 7

Rhodo 3

Rhodo 6

Azalea 1

Azalea 2

Rhodo 10

Rhodo 5

Dogwood 3

Dogwood 2

Dogwood 4

And this is just the beginning of all the flowers... (all credit goes to my father-in-law as all of these flowers are his).

That looks like the garden we had in Gainesville, Florida when I was growing up. I didn't realize how much I missed those plants until your photos. Sigh. Alkaline soil here in Austin, Texas, so no azaleas or relatives.

Lovely flowers! They make me wish my black thumb was a little greener.

We have a way to go to catch up with you. I noticed the lated Feb Rhodos blooming in the middle of April :(

Wow those are lovely.

Here on Vancouver Island we have a few flowers, but not the weather. It's miserable. Everything is shivering out there.
