Look what I finished!
The Specs:
Pattern: Ann Budd's generic sock pattern
Needles: Size 3 bamboo dpns
Yarn: 2 skeins Silk Garden Lite (colourway 2017)
I know they aren't identical twins, but I am pleased with how well I synched them up, considering that the two skeins, while of the same dye lot, were at different points in the dye lot at the beginning of the skein. It took me less than 2 weeks to knit these socks (thank you, 5 day long weekend!) and I can't wait to wash and wear them.

Those turned out great! When I saw them I thought "she did a really good job matching up the colors!"
Gorgeous socks! (And hey, I was apple pie, too!)
Those are so freaking cool!
Oh they are cool! I think you did a great job matching the colors! Awesome to be done in a short time too! Enjoy them! :)
Nicely done! You did a great job matching colors.
I wouldn't have noticed they weren't identical. As my grandmother (may she rest in peace) used to say "a blind man running for his life won't stop to look at those."
Identical female twins can have some subtle differences because one of the 2 X chromosomes is randomly selected to act as the dominant one (that's also what gives calico cats their doppled colouring). Looks to me like you have a pair of identical girls there!
Very pretty! Absolutely gorgeous!
They look pretty identical to me. I'd never do so good a job at matching them up. How do they feel on the feet?
That was quick! And they are absolutely gorgeous! Love them!!
They're wonderful. I love the colors and the flowing transitions. What a great pair of socks!
I learn the neatest things from you people! The socks are very dense and sort of medium thick (the perfect socks for this cold weather)
They look both fun and warm. The colors look awesome
hey jezebel, those socks look like just the thing I could raise a few more eyebrows here in downtown Honeymoon Bay. I think they are very artistic.
Nice! And they look pretty darn identical to me! Good work.
Enjoy them!
